Rome, July 16 (IANS) The vice president of Italian Palermo, Guglielmo Micciche, has said that Italian-Argentine striker Franco Vazquez has already become "a player of Sevilla football club" and is one of the best players in Italy in his position.
Micciche said in an interview with a radio station on Friday that Vazquez joined Sevilla, which is the club he most wanted and which took the final steps to sign the player, unlike Italian teams.
The vice president of the Sicilian club, who had also received requests from Milan to sign the player, said that Vazquez is one of the best players in Italy in his position, reports Efe.
Vazquez, 27, was the best player of Palermo last season, contributing to the salvation of the Sicilian team with eight goals and seven assists.
