Raipur, July 16 (IANS) Four Maoists were shot dead in a joint anti-Naxal operation by security forces on Saturday in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district, police said.
The operation was jointly led by the personnel of District Force, Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (COBRA), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Special Task Force along the Telangana border.
A huge cache of arms and weapons including guns, pipe-bombs, bomb-making materials along with Maoist banners and posters were recovered.
