Los Angeles, Jul 17 (PTI) Former "Friends" star Courteney Cox's daughter Coco Arquette has turned to acting - in a new music video.
Courtney's 12-year-old daughter is the inspiration behind and star of new song 'Coco' by singer Foy Vance, reported People magazine.
In the video, the brown haired beauty dancing, walking on the beach, hula-hooping and generally looking lovely.
The shoot was also directed by Courteney, who met singer Foy Vance through her current boyfriend, Snow Patrol star Johnny McDaid.
52 year-old actress Courteney opened up about her daughter's influence on the song.
"Johnny brought Foy into my life a few years ago, and immediately, he became a very close friend. He also got to know my daughter, Coco, and a song was born.
"From the first time Foy played 'Coco' for me and every time I've heard it since I've felt he captured, not only Coco's unique personality but also the beautiful childhood innocence that sadly, but inevitably fades with time," she said.
Foy added that Courteney was the best director for the job, explaining: "As soon as I wrote the song 'Coco' which started out as an off-the-cuff verse to make Coco laugh it was obvious that Courteney would direct the video."
And Coco's not the first in the family to star in a music video. Her mother Courteney featured in Bruce Springsteen's video for 'Dancing in the Dark' just over thirty years ago.
