Los Angeles, July 15 (IANS) Distribution company Lionsgate has announced that the reboot of the famous "Saw" film franchise will hit theatres on October 27, 2017.
The untitled film will be co-directed by Michael and Peter Spierig, who earlier directed 2010 thriller "Daybreakers", reports aceshowbiz.com.
Other details, including plotline and cast members, are still under wraps. Mark Burg and Oren Koules will be producing it.
Lionsgate has also set the date for action comedy "The Hitman's Bodyguard" starring Ryan Reynolds. The film will release on August 18, 2017.
The Patrick Hughes-directed movie centres on the world's top protection agent (Reynolds) who gets a new client - a hitman who is his former foe (Samuel L. Jackson). The duo team up and have 24 hours to get the Hague to take down a murderous dictator (Gary Oldman).
