New Delhi, July 15 (IANS) Actress Kalki Koechlin, who is popular for portraying unconventional roles on the silver screen, says she has no immediate plans to don the director's hat.
Asked if she plans to direct a film anytime soon, Kalki told IANS: "No, I have no (such) plans right now. I don't think that I would be directing a film anytime soon."
The "Shaitan" actress, who was in Bengaluru last week to pick the Draw of Lots for the Kingfisher Ultra Bangalore Derby 2016, says she doesn't "really plan what happens next."
"For now, I am just focusing on films and theatre," she added.
Kalki will be seen on screen in the upcoming film "A Death In The Gunj", Konkona Sen Sharma's directorial which also features Vikrant Massey, Gulshan Devaiah, Om Puri, Tillotama Shome, Tanuja and Ranvir Shorey.
Apart from "A Death In The Gunj", Kalki says she has several other projects.
"So, I have a project which is a web-series called 'Smoke', which is about Goa politics and Goa mafia," said the actress, who is currently in the US to stage Rajat Kapoor's play "What's Done Is Done" for three weeks.
