Director Sriwass who made movies like Lakshyam, Rama Rama Krishna Krishna, Loukyam, Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda, and Dictator, was supposed to team up with actor Gopi Chand for his next. Due to unknown reasons, Gopi Chand pulled himself out of this project and got committed to director Sampath Nandi. With no other option left, Sriwass had to find a new casting for this movie.
Director Sriwass has approached Nandamuri Kalyan Ram to act in his upcoming movie. Kalyan Ram seems to be positive in this regard, but he hasn't yet given a nod. Kalyan Ram is currently working for the movie Ism, which is being directed by Puri Jagannath.
