The channel will showcase movies that have been adapted from books every Sunday from July 17. It will go on for three months.
The channel completed one year of launch on July 9, read a statement.
The first movie will be "Thank You for Smoking".
The festival will showcase well known book adaptations such as - The Devil Wears Prada, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Matilda, The War of The Roses, The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, William Shakespeares Romeo+Juliet, The Fault in our Stars, Annie, Dr. Strangelove, The Atonement, The French Connection and Thank You for Smoking to name a few.
Speaking about the festival, film critic Anupama Chopra said: It's such a great initiative for all book lovers to see their favourite books come alive through the festival. I am looking forward to revisiting films like "Dr. Strangelove" or "How I Learned to Stop Worrying' and "Love the Bomb" and "The Devil Wears Prada".
Filmmaker Sajid Khan also shared that the channel is bringing popular films where it is hard to pick just one.
