'Lyrics need to be revolutionised in Gujarati music industry'

Mumbai, July 13 (IANS) Hindi and Gujarati music composer duo Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya, who have given music for the forthcoming Tiger Shroff film “A Flying Jatt”, believe that the lyrics used in Gujarati music industry need to be revolutionised.

Having composed for films like “Hero”, “Badlapur”, “Finding Fanny” and “Go Goa Gone”, the duo has churned out music for both Hindi and Gujarati music industry.

“Gujarati industry is where work needs to be done. It's brewing. We need to give our audiences quality entertainment. They are so willing to spend money for it. It's high time we give them what they deserve. Sounds need to be redefined and the lyrics need to be revolutionised,” Sachin told IANS.

“We are completely up for it. Our heart is in our mother tongue and we will not stop working until we have delivered satisfying quality to our Gujarati audiences,” he added.

“A Fying Jatt” is a superhero film co-written, choreographed and directed by Remo D'Souza starring Tiger, Jacqueline Fernandez and professional wrestler Nathan Jones in lead roles.

The film is slated to release on August 25.
