London, Jul 14 (PTI) Actress Melissa McCarthy has suggested that a "Bridesmaids" sequel may happen, but not anytime soon.
The 45-year-old actress, who has teamed up again with Bridesmaids director Paul Feig for "Ghostbusters", hinted that a follow-up to the hit 2011 comedy was a prospect for the future, reported Digital Spy.
Asked about her co-star Kristen Wiig, McCarthy said: "That's another amazing group of women who I'd love to work with again. I don't think it will be on a sequel to 'Bridesmaids', though.
"Kristen and Annie (Mumolo, who co-wrote it) aren't doing it. It's really down to them and everyone is so busy."
However, she added: "It could happen but not for a long time."
"Bridesmaids" also co-starred Maya Rudolph and Rose Byrne, and went on to be nominated for two Oscars.
