Dhaka, July 12 (IANS) The Bangladeshi government has been taking extra security measures at all domestic and international airports as part of its efforts to thwart any untoward terrorist incident.
Bangladeshi Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon on Tuesday said the extra security measures have been taken in the wake of the two recent terrorist attacks -- one at a cafe in Dhaka's diplomatic enclave Gulshan and the other near the country's largest Eid congregation venue.
Passengers may have to face some inconvenience due to the security measures, Xinhua news agency quoted Menon as saying.
