Istanbul, July 11 (IANS) At least seven suspects were detained for their links with the attacks on an airport in Istanbul last month, the media reported on Monday.
The arrests were made in Istanbul following risk analysis and profile assessment reports by anti-terror police, Xinhua news agency reported.
The suspects were charged with "being members of armed terrorist group" and "assisting premediated homicide", it said.
At least three terrorists opened fire at crowds and then blew themselves up at the Kamal Ataturk International Airport on June 28, leaving 45 people dead and more than 200 others injured.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, but Turkish officials said it was conducted by the Islamic State group.
As of now, 37 suspects, many of them foreign nationals, have been arrested.
