New Delhi, July 10 (IANS) Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday spoke to Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on the flood situation in the state.
"Spoke to CM Madhya Pradesh who apprised me of the flood situation in the state. Rescue and relief operations are in full swing," Rajnath Singh tweeted.
Chouhan also tweeted: "Highly thankful to central government for valuable support and assuring all possible assistance to deal with the crisis."
At least 15 people were killed in rain-related incidents in different parts of Madhya Pradesh.
However, lately there have been reports of rains declining a bit giving relief to people in the excessive rain affected areas. Chouhan also reviewed the flood situation at a high level meeting in Bhopal.
