New Delhi, July 8 (IANS) The national capital experienced a humid day on Friday with traces of rain at some locations in the evening as the maximum temperature settled two notches below the season's average at 35 degrees Celsius, the Met office said.
"There would be mainly cloudy sky on Saturday with rain or thundershowers likely to occur towards the afternoon or evening," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 35 and 29 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Friday's minimum recorded temperature was 29.8 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the humidity oscillated between 92 and 63 per cent.
Thursday's maximum temperature settled at 36.9 degrees Celsius, season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
