New Delhi, July 6 (IANS) A massive fire engulfed a sweet shop's godown here on Wednesday, an official said. Twelve fire tenders battled the blaze for hours but no one was injured.
The fire erupted on the first floor of the godown of Gokul Sweets in Pitampura in west Delhi around 6 a.m. and it quickly spread to the second floor of the four-storey building, a Delhi Fire Service officer said.
"We rushed 12 fire tenders to douse the flames," the officer told IANS. The cause of the fire was not known. No one was reportedly injured.
