New Delhi, July 6 (IANS) It was a cloudy Wednesday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 28.5 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, the Met office said.
"The sky will be cloudy through out the day. Light rains or thundershower is expected to occur in some areas towards evening or night," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
According to the weather office, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius.
The humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 78 per cent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature settled at 36.5 degrees Celsius, season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 27.9 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season.
