‘Om Namo Venkatesha’ shoot turns Annapurna studio into a sacred place

The movie Om Namo Venkatesha's shoot has started and is going on at a brisk pace. Akkineni Nagarjuna as the hero, K Raghavendra Rao is the director of this devotional flick. It is a known fact that this flick is the life story of Hathi Ram the devotee of Lord Venkateswara.

A huge set has been laid at Annapurna Studios, that resemble Tirumala hills and the Temple of Lord Venkateswara. The set extends in 7 acres and the whole unit has decided to practice some things while in the set. It was decided by the whole team, that no one would deny the set of rules laid. The list of the rules go like this:

No one is allowed to wear their slippers on, while working on the set.

All the members of the unit shall wear a Govinda Namam on their foreheads.

No mobiles are to be allowed.

All the members shall greet or talk to each other referring to, as Govinda.

Hence, the movie set has become more of a religious place, rather than a studio.
