Hyderabad, July 5 (IANS) The Indian Immunologicals Ltd (IIL), the market leader in veterinary biologicals, is organising free animal vaccination camps in 100 centres across the country on World Zoonosis Day on July 6.
The Hyderabad-headquartered IIL, which is one of the largest animal and human health players in India, will organise the camps through veterinary dispensaries.
IIL, which is the leader in providing tools to control the deadly rabies disease in the country every year organises these camps on World Zoonosis Day. The diseases that are transmitted from animals to human beings are called Zoonotic diseases.
IIL was setup by National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) in 1982 and pursues its mission of "biotechnology in healthcare made affordable and accessible" in both the animal and human health segments and in the process creates a vibrant biotechnology base for the country and a leadership position in the international arena.
