London, July 5 (IANS) Brazilian goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has signed a "new and improved contract" with Watford until 2018, the English club said in a statement on Tuesday.
Watford announced that Gomes, 35, has been "rewarded" for good performance during the last two years and will stay at least until June 2018, reports Efe.
The Brazilian veteran played 39 games last season and was adjudged the club's Player of the Season.
Gomes, who has played 11 matches with his national team, joined Watford in May 2014 from Tottenham Hotspur.
