Bengaluru, July 4 (IANS) Damage to a tyre of Air Asia India's Airbus A320 at the parking bay after landing at the Kempegowda international airport here delayed its departure to New Delhi on Monday, the low-cost airline said.
"Return flight to New Delhi departed at 12.44 p.m. after engineering and safety teams reviewed the damage and rectified the defect," the arrier said in a statement here.
The airline staff informed the passengers about the delay at the airport.
The budget carrier is a $30-million Indo-Malaysian joint venture of AirAsia Berhad (49 per cent), Tata Sons (30 per cent) and Telstra Tradeplace (21 per cent).
