New Delhi, July 2 (IANS) A cloudy morning on Saturday brought respite from hot and humid temperature in Delhi lowering the minimum temperature to 24.4 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
"The city has received 23.6 mm in last 24 hours," an official at the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The day ahead will also remain cloudy and there is a possibility of rains, the official said.
The maximum temperatures is likely to hover around 32 degrees Celsius.
According to the weather office, the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded 87 per cent.
Friday's minimum temperature was recorded at 27.2 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average while the maximum temperature settled at 36.6 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season.
