New York, July 1 (IANS) US-based R&B/Pop sensation Amrit Dasu aka DASU has unveiled a new track titled "Frenemies".

DASU said in a statement: "While in a Mumbai hotel, I got this thought in my head where I remember how people get so caught up in the limelight and lose themselves in 'fame'. When everyone starts becoming your friend for what you do, instead of who you really are. Fake friends who smile in your face but wish to see you fall.
"'Frenemies is a song about someone who is on top of the world and still feels trapped in a hotel room could have any girl in the world but cant find true love can have all the friends in the world but cant find friendship, leading him to rebel against everything and everyone.
Frenemies, composed and written by DASU, was penned in a hotel room in Mumbai while DASU was in India to shoot for the music video of his debut single.
The new single is available worldwide and is accompanied by a music video, shot on the streets of China Town in New York.
