Ankara, June 30 (IANS) The deaths from bombing attacks in Istanbul's Ataturk Airport has risen to 43, Turkish officials said on Thursday.
Nineteen of the victims were foreign nationals, and the evidence pointed to the Islamic State (IS) as behind the attack, Xinhua news agency reported.
Over 200 people were injured in the gun and bombing attack.
Turkish official have identified the three suicide bombers who carried out the strike on Tuesday as Russian, Uzbek and Kyrgyz nationals.
A total of 13 suspects, including three foreigners, were detained on Thursday in raids on 16 addresses in Istanbul, local media reported.
In the Izmir city, counter-terrorism teams detained at least nine suspects.
