Maverick director Shankar is gearing up for the sequel to the blockbuster ‘Robo’ with Superstar Rajinikanth. Half of the shooting part is completed and is currently undergoing its VFX work for the completed part. The shoot will resume once Rajinikanth is back from the US.
Shankar is known for making films with grand sets and top notch VFX. Now with 2.0 he is getting ready to push the boundaries even further. There is an important sequence in the film which features villain Akshay Kumar will try to demolish the Parliament and Red Fort. As the team was unable to get the permission, Shankar decided to re-create them in VFX using green screen sound stage.
