London, June 29 (IANS) Prince Harry joined British rock band Coldplay on stage in support of a charity.
Harry joined Coldplay during the band's set at the Kensington Palace during a charity concert to raise money for the Royal's Sentebale charity and to raise awareness of youth affected by HIV/AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa on Tuesday, reports billboard.com.
"What we know is that HIV is a virus that thrives off silence and feeds on stigma," Prince Harry said before introducing Coldplay to the stage.
"Every single one of us has a responsibility to educate ourselves. To do what we can to speak out and stamp out the silence, ignorance and fear that the virus needs to win," he continued.
The charity concert also featured Grammy-winner Joss Stone, the Basotho Youth Choir and African-Norwegian duo Nico and Vinz. Coldplay also performed their recent singles "Hymn For the weekend" and "Paradise".
In the performance's finale, Prince Harry joined Coldplay along with Prince Seeiso and the Basotho Youth Choir to perform the song "Up&Up".
