Los Angeles, June 28 (IANS) Model-actress Marissa Jades comic book Destiny: Queen of Thieves is being developed as a movie to be directed by Ken Barbet.
Jade came into limelight after appearing on the sixth and final season of TV show Mob Wives and via publication of Destiny: Queen of Thieves, which is based on her look and attitude. She has also appeared on shows including Gossip Girl, The Good Wife and Law & Order.
Erik Sudberg has signed on to write the script for the film, reports variety.com.
Destiny: Queen of Thieves focuses on a female master thief who lives in New York City. When another criminal organisation tries to pull a major heist, like a darker version of a modern-day Robin Hood, Destiny sets them up to fail and steals the rest of their assets as they flee the city.
I am ecstatic to see my comic book to come to life. This is going to be such an awesome project, Jade said.
