Kejriwal to meet fisherfolk, students, hoteliers in Goa visit

Panaji, June 25 (IANS) With an eye on the upcoming assembly polls in Goa, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will hold a series of interactive meetings with youth, fisherfolk and small tourism industry stakeholders during a two-day visit to the coastal state from June 28.

Addressing a press conference to announce the agenda for Kejriwal's Goa visit, Aam Aadmi Party's Goa spokesperson Rupesh Shinkre also said that the top party leader would launch Goa Dialogues, an interactive initiative which will help the political outfit devise its election manifesto.

"Arvind Kejriwal will participate in a series of meetings with traditional fisherfolk, students and small hoteliers and owners of guest houses in Goa during his 48 hour stay in Goa," he said.

In May, Kejriwal addressed the party's first public meeting in the state, where he formally announced the party's decision to contest the state legislative assembly polls which are likely to be held in early 2017.
