New Delhi, June 25 (IANS) It was a hot, humid and sunny morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature settling at 31.9 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average.
"The sky will remain partly cloudy and light rains or thunderstorm are likely to occur in some areas towards the evening or night," said an official of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
Maximum temperature is likely to hover around 39 degrees Celsius.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 79 per cent.
Friday's maximum temperature at 39.9 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average while the minimum temperature recorded one notch above the season's average at 29.2 degrees Celsius.
