Los Angeles, June 25 (IANS) Actor Matthew McConaughey is "in talks" to reprise his role as Rustin Cohle in the television show True Detective.
The 46-year-old shared the news that he will be returning to the show and that he was a happy man when the show was initially made, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"I would return. It'd have to be in the right context and the right way. It'd need that spark like when I first read the scripts, McConaughey said at The Rich Eisen Show.
"When I read it, I knew after 20 minutes that I could play this guy and that I'm in. I miss Cohle, and I miss watching him on Sunday nights. I was a happy man when we made that show, because for six months I was on my own island, he added.
True Detective is an anthology series in which police investigations unearth the personal and professional secrets of those involved, both within and outside the law.
The show also features Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams, Taylor Kitsch, Kelly Reilly, and Vince Vaughn.
