New Delhi, June 24 (IANS) Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Friday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will give a tough fight to the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Samajwadi Party (SP) in Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, due early next year.
"People are fed up with the BSP and the SP there. The BJP will give them tough fight," he told IANS.
The minister also said that the BJP is "visible and acceptable" in the state and will be one of the important parties in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.
Naqvi said senior leaders of the party have already swung into action and "no stone will be left unturned" to do well in the Uttar Pradesh polls.
