New Delhi, June 23 (IANS) It was a cloudy Thursday morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 27.6 degree celsius, a notch below the season's average.
Met has forecast the sky to remain cloudy through out the day with the chances of light rain.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 39 degrees celsius.
"It was a cloudy Thursday morning with light spells of rain. The day is likely to remain the same throughout and can witness more light rain," said an official of the India Meteorological Department(IMD).
According the the IMD, the city witnessed 0.7 mm rainfall till 5.30 a.m
Humidity at 8.30 a.m was recorded 70 per cent.
Wednesday's maximum temperature was recorded at 37.5 degrees celsius while the minimum temperature settled at 26.8 degrees celsius, both a notch below the season's average.
