New Delhi, June 22 (IANS) It was a sunny Wednesday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 26.8 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average, the weather office said.
"The sky will remain partly cloudy and light rains or thunderstorm are likely to occur in some areas towards the evening or night," said an official of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 38 degrees Celsius, the official said.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 79 per cent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature settled at 37.8 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 27 degree Celsius, one notch below the season's average.
