London, Jun 23 (PTI) Filmmaker-musician David Lynch is launching his first-ever music, art and film festival.
The "Mullholland Drive" director has announced the Festival of Disruption, a two-day event from October 8 and 9.
Festival of Disruption will feature sets from Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, St Vincent, Questlove, and Rhye, as well as a special performance of music from his cult TV series Twin Peaks, featuring Sky Ferreira and Xiu Xiu.
In addition to music, the festival will also include talks, exhibits, and film screenings. Blondie's Debbie Harry will be in conversation with bandmate Chris Stein, while Twin Peaks actors Kyle MACLachlan and Laura Dern will take part in a talk.
Some of Lynch's rarely seen short films will also be screened, and daily Transcendental Meditation sessions will also be available.
All the proceeds from the Festival of Disruption will go towards the David Lynch Foundation, set up to help reduce toxic stress and trauma among at-risk communities.
