Sindh High Court chief justice's son missing, possibly kidnapped

Islamaabd, June 21 (IANS) The son of Sindh High Court Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah was missing in Karachi city of Pakistan and possibly kidnapped when he went shopping at a mall in high-profile Clifton aarea.

Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah late on Monday ordered authorities to block all entry-exit points of the city in order to recover Owais Ali Shah, the News International reported.

Owais Ali Shah has been missing since afternoon, and did not return home.

 

His car was recovered from outside the shopping mall.

According to eyewitnesses, Owais was taken away by men in white shalwar qameez. They said he resisted kidnapping and fought with the abductors but could not free himself.

Qaim Ali Shah ordered check-points to be set up across the city and asked officials to spare no effort in searching for the missing son of the provincial high court's chief justice.

Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad Khan has also taken notice of the disappearance of Owais Ali Shah and ordered the officials to utilise all resources to recover him.
