London, June 15 (IANS) West Ham United have announced the signing of Valencia's Algerian winger Sofiane Feghouli for the next three football seasons.
Feghouli, 26, will officially play for the Hammers, seventh in the English Premier League of 2015-2016, on July 1, the day after the end of his contract with the Spanish club, the English club announced on Tuesday, reports Efe.
The French-Algerian, who has so far scored 11 goals in 40 games for Algeria, becomes the second summer signing of West Ham, who have already announced the signing of Norwegian midfielder Havard Nordtveit from Borussia Monchengladbach.
"I am very happy to sign for the Hammers and for (coach) Slaven Bilic. The history of the club is important for me in my decision," Feghouli said in a statement on the English club's website.
Feghouli had joined Valencia in 2010 from Grenoble.
