The actor celebrated his birthday amidst his fans in the US and has delivered a lengthy speech, where he spoke about his career in general, Andhra Pradesh history and his father NTR.
Talking about the dynamic steps NTR has taken, during his political journey, Balakrishna said that Telangana people had the white rice only because of the '2 Rs Kilo Rice' scheme introduced by the legend. He added that people started having a handful of food after NTR became the Chief Minister.
These comments led to a huge debate among the netizens and the people of Telangana are expressing their disappointment over the actor-MLA's comments. They are breathing fumes at the allegedly demeaning statements and are demanding an immediate apology.
