New Delhi, June 14 (IANS) A manager of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has been arrested for allegedly demanding and accepting bribes, the CBI said on Tuesday.
"Pravin Kumar working as manager, business projects, was arrested by the agency personnel on Monday evening for demanding a bribe of Rs.20,000 from the complainant to allot two shops at Badarpur Metro station," an agency spokesperson told IANS.
"He was arrested for accepting a bribe of Rs.10,000 from the complainant," said the spokesperson.
A case was registered against Pravin Kumar under section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act and searches were conducted at the residential premises of the accused officer, the spokesperson added.
