New Delhi, June 13 (IANS) It was a sunny Monday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 29.5 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, the weather office said.
"The sky will be partly cloudy on Monday. Light rains or thunderstorm are likely to occur towards evening or night," said an official of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 39 degrees Celsius, the official said.
According to the weather office, the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 54 per cent.
Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 39.6 degrees Celsius, the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.9 degree Celsius, one notch below the season's average.
