I0slamabad, June 13 (IANS) A Pakistani provincial assembly on Monday banned live media coverage of events owing to security concerns.
All the passes possessed by media representatives have been revoked, Sindh assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani said.
In April, a private media channels team member entered the assembly hiding a gun in his clothing.
The move reportedly was made by the media team to expose the vulnerable security condition of the house.
The team was later arrested from the premises after the media representative took out the weapon and placed it before the speaker.
