Beirut, June 13 (IANS) Two people were injured in an explosion that rocked the western part of Lebanon's capital city of Beirut, the National News Agency (NNA) reported.
Two people were injured in the explosion that went off near the headquarters of the BLOM bank in Verdun, Xinhua cited a news by NNA quoting the head of the Lebanese Red Cross operations Georges Kettaneh as saying.
Preliminary investigations revealed the weight of the explosion device is two kilograms that were hidden in a suitcase left near the headquarters of BLOM bank.
