Baghdad, June 12 (IANS) The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (ISESCO) on Saturday condemned Friday's terrorist bombings in Baghdad, linking the rampant terrorist acts to the dysfunctional handling of Iraq's tense situation.
The terror in Iraq is a result of the failure in handling the country's issues, coupled with foreign agendas aimed at perpetuating the situation of discord and hostility between the components of the Iraqi people for clear expansionist ends, Xinhua quoted ISESCO as saying.
It called on the Iraqi leaders to join hands to save Iraq from the serious troubles undermining its unity, sovereignty and integrity.
The organisation also reiterated its strong rejection of all forms of terrorism and sectarian intolerance, expressing its condolences to the families of the victims.
