New Delhi, June 10 (IANS) A day after the BJP leaders described Prime Minister Narendra Modi's five-nation tour, including to the United States, as "historic", the opposition Congress on Friday said not a single new idea came out of his US visit.
Congress leader Manish Tewari said the foundation for the India-US relations was laid by the previous Congress-led United Progressive Alliance government when it signed the India-US nuclear deal.
"As far as the India-US relations are concerned, there is no single new idea that came out of this trip," the Congress leader said.
Tewari said the fact that Modi spent only a few hours in Mexico shows a lack of commitment towards Latin American nations.
