New Delhi, June 10 (IANS) Chinese internet and technology conglomerate LeEco has revealed plans for content business, including benefits users can avail through the LeEco membership programme that gives them access to media content.
Through its premium membership programme, LeEco would give members access to more than 50 online international live concerts starting this month, said Debashish Ghosh, COO, Indian Content Business, LeEco, during the launch of Le 2 and Le Max 2 smartphones on Wednesday.
The Le 2 is priced at Rs 11,999 and the Le Max 2 is priced at Rs 22,999.
The smartphones feature a new audio standard called CDLA (Continual Digital Lossless Audio) to deliver lossless audio to users via the USB Type-C port.
The dual-SIM supporting LeEco Le 2 features a 5.5-inch full HD display and is powered by 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 652 system-on-chip (SoC) paired up with 3GB of RAM.
Le 2 has a 16MP rear camera with LED flash and a 8MP front camera.
The Le Max 2 features a 5.7-inch quad-HD SuperRetina display and is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired up with 6GB of RAM.
The device sports a 21MP rear camera with LED flash and a 8MP front camera.
Both smartphones will be available on Flipkart and LeMall.com, which is the company's own e-commerce portal.
LeEco has also announced its retail space in the country and plans to set up fully owned exclusive retail stores in top eight to 10 cities, starting with New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru along with 500 franchise stores.
The company will showcase its entire product and services ecosystem at the stores--ranging from phones, TVs, VR headsets, bluetooth devices and power banks.
