Houston, June 10 (IANS) Three persons were killed after a small plane crashed near Houston's Hobby Airport in the US, the media reported.
According to ABC13, the plane, a fixed wing single-engine made by the Cirrus Design Group, crashed in the parking lot of a store on Thursday, destroying a sedan. No one, however, on the ground was injured.
A witness said that it sounded like a "loud boom" when the plane, a Model - SR20, hit the ground, Xinhua news agency reported.
The area near the accident has been sealed off and the cause of the crash is being investigated.
