Paris, June 9 (IANS) Italy's head coach Antonio Conte on Thursday refused to predict his team's chances at the Euro football championship starting on Friday but said they should take a humble approach in France.
"I don't have a crystal ball," Conte said in the team base in Montpellier. "We have to stay humble, keep our heads down and just keep pedalling."
Conte said all the 23 players in his team will get a chance to play in the three Group E games against Belgium, Sweden and Ireland, reports Xinhua.
"We can't let ourselves be influenced by external factors. We're focused, concentrated on working and looking to improve on all parts of our game." Conte said.
Italy will have an open session at the training camp of French Ligue 1 side Montpellier on Thursday and perhaps that session could offer few clues to the starting eleven for Italy's opening match against Belgium on Monday.
"We have to get our head down and pedal, paying no attention to who is around us, but concentrating on catching whoever is ahead of us," the former Juventus coach said.
"My squad? Theres nothing to clarify. I chose 23 players who have my trust, I know what they can do."
