Mumbai, June 4 (IANS) Bollywood singer Shaan, who was seen as a coach on the singing reality show The Voice India, will return to his seat for the upcoming children's version of the show, titled The Voice India Kids.
I am very thrilled to be back as the coach on the show and I am looking forward to a brand new season of 'The Voice India Kids'. 'The Voice' is the most sought after singing show on television and this will be a huge platform for these young battalions to showcase their talent, Shaan said in a statement.
The Voice India Kids will provide a platform to young singers between the age group of 6-14 years to showcase their talent in front of a national audience.
Apart from Shaan, "The Voice India" -- the Indian edition of the internationally acclaimed reality format "The Voice" -- featured Himesh Reshammiya, Sunidhi Chauhan and Mika Singh.
On The Voice India Kids, Shaan will be joined by singer Neeti Mohan. A third coach is yet to be finalised.

Leenesh Mattoo felt shy flaunting six-pack abs
TV actor Leenesh Mattoo, who will next be seen in Ishqbaaz, felt embarrassed when he flaunted his toned physique in a pool for the upcoming show and the crowd started whistling while staring at him.
Leenesh, who was last seen in Suhani Si Ek Ladki, will be seen playing the role of Rudra in Ishqbaaz.
While shooting for the first promo for the show, Leenesh was asked to flaunt his body and the build that signifies Rudra and his larger than life personality.
But the actor felt shy when people near the pool started staring at him.
Rudra is flamboyant and lives life on his own terms. Hes a free spirited boy who loves enjoying to the fullest. And such stares at his body would have been a regular for him, but while we were shooting, it was embarrassing when people were almost whistling and staring at me every time I got out of the pool, Leenesh said in a statement.
Ishqbaaz, which will be aired on Star Plus, will tell the story of three brothers, Omkar, Rudra and Shivaay.
Actors Nakuul Mehta and Kunal Jaisingh will be seen as Shivaay and Omkar.

Aniruddh Dave dives from 120 feet for film
Popular TV actor Aniruddh Dave, who will next be seen on the silver screen in Shorgul, dived from 120 feet in a river in Lucknow for a sequence in the upcoming film.
There is a scene in the film where I need to dive from a height and take a dip into the water after the dive. I was confident and have taken safety measures, Aniruddh said in a statement.
I am an actor who believes in perfection and I want to achieve that with loads of practice. If I am new to something, I make it perfect with my practice and focus. So same thing I applied this time, he added.
Apart from Aniruddh, Shorgul also stars Asutosh Rana, Jimmy Sheirgill and Sanjay Suri.
Talking about his role in the film, Aniruddh said: My character, Raghu, is the catalyst in the film and his presence in the film will be felt by the audience.
"Shorgul" has been jointly directed by Jitendra Tiwari and P. Singh.
