Shaheer Sheikh gets excited over TV track

Mumbai, June 1 (IANS) Actor Shaheer Sheikh, who is currently playing the role of Dev in “Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi”, says the TV show is heading towards a very interesting twist.

The Sony Entertainment Television’s show follows Dev and Sonakshi’s journey of discovering love after the initial resentment.

With the change in the track, Dev will start realising his feelings for Sonakshi (played by Erica Fernandes). And Shaheer says that viewers will be able to spot the difference through the use of colours.

"I am very excited about the new track. We are heading towards the most interesting part of Dev's life where he will experience something he has never felt before. It will be very interesting to see how he reacts to such emotions and situations in his life as he is an otherwise reserved person,” Shaheer said in a statement.

The actor also shared that “the change is emotional” and will be “showcased through his appearance as well”.

"Initially viewers saw him donning mostly dark and dull colours, now his wardrobe seems to be full of colours, especially Orange as it is Sonakshi's favourite," he added.

My mom calls me sir: Dharmesh Yelande

Dharmesh Yelande has come a long way from managing a tea stall to dancing his way to fame via "Dance India Dance". He says he owes his success to his mother and also to his choreographer-director Remo D'souza.

Dharmesh is fondly called as 'sir' by his fans and Dharmesh says his mother also calls him 'sir' now.

"My mom is a jovial and positive woman; she has supported me all throughout. She has seen me grow from a tea stall vendor, to auditioning for a dance reality show, climbing the radar to appear in a movie and now a mentor on 'Dance +'. She feels proud and respects me, which is why just like others even she has started to address me as sir," Dharmesh said in a statement.

Asked about how he got the title, Dharmesh said: “A few years ago, my students had performed at one of the reality shows and the judges were impressed. So when they asked them who their choreographer was, they said `Dharmesh sir'.

“My performance was scheduled after theirs and when the judges asked me if my choreographer was also 'Dharmesh sir', I told them that I was Dharmesh. That's how I got the title.”

After a successful first season of "Dance +", Dharmesh is now gearing for its second season. "Dance + Season 2" will air on Star Plus channel.

Kavita Kaushik's claustrophobic story

Kavita Kaushik got claustrophobic in a flight while returning to Mumbai from Jaipur. And that made the actress stand in the air hostess area for the entire duration of the flight till it landed.

The actress, who will be seen essaying the role of an Army doctor in upcoming TV show “Dr. Bhanumati on Duty”, had offered her front row seat to an elderly patient and took a seat near the emergency exit.

She started feeling suffocated soon and decided to stand near the air hostess area to divert her mind.

“Very few people know that I've a slight issue of claustrophobia. The plane cabin was too hot and the flight all full, the emergency exit seat the staff provided me was although fine but I got a little uncomfortable so I preferred standing and chatting with the air hostesses and taking pictures with them for the entire flight. It was good fun actually," Kavita said in a statement.

“Dr Bhanumati on Duty” will air on SAB TV from June 7.
