New Delhi, June 1 (IANS) Lenovo's K4 Note smartphones have started to receive updates of Android Marshmallow 6.0 for new features and support, including revamped app permissions, the company announced on Wednesday.
Lenovo, in association with Amazon, also announced that a total of 600,000 units of the K4 Note and 150,000 units of ANT virtual reality (VR) headsets have been sold so far.
K4 Note is the world's first smartphone with the "TheaterMax" technology that can create an immersive large screen experience boasting smooth graphics, surround sound and responsive 3D.
The Rs.11,999 priced K4 Note has a 5.5-inch full HD display, 13MP primary camera and a 5MP selfie shooter and comes with a 3,300 mAh embedded battery.
The phone runs on 64-bit MediaTek octa-core processor with 3GB RAM, has 16GB onboard storage which can be expanded by 128GB memory card.
Lenovo so far has rolled out Android 6.0 update for K3 Note, A7000, P1 and S1 devices.
