Panaji, June 1 (IANS) A 52-year-old painter was arrested on Wednesday on charge of killing his young daughter and seriously injuring the other after he saw them speaking to a youngster in their locality in Sattari sub-district of north Goa, police said.
Accused Shankar Reddy fatally injured Sujata, 20, with a chopper while his other 17-year-old daughter was injured.
Superintendent of Police (North Goa) Umesh Gaonkar told reporters that investigations were on.
