Thiruvananthapuram, June 1 (IANS) The Pinarayi Vijayan-led Kerala government on Wednesday effected a reshuffle of 24 top Indian Administrative Service officials.
The reshuffle included return of half a dozen senior IAS officials from central deputation.
Apart from this, Vijayan has departed from tradition and instead of one IAS official in the chief minister's office, opted for two. Nalini Netto will be his chief advisor and M.Sivasankar her deputy.
On Monday, Vijayan showed the door to the top police official T.P.Sen Kumar, the director general of police, law and order and on Wednesday, his replacement Loknath Behra took over.
