New Delhi, May 31 (IANS) It was a partly cloudy Tuesday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 24.7 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average, weather officials said.
"The sky will be partly cloudy throughout the day. Light rains and thundershower are likely to occur is some areas," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 37 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 68 percent, the official said.
According to Met department, the city witnessed 4.7 mm rainfall on Monday.
On Monday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 32.4 degrees Celsius, eight notches below the season's average while the minimum temperature of the day settled at 23 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average.
